The return of the Chickens
After several months of not having any chickens (due to a fox attack) we have just taken delivery of four new ones. They are all between 1 and 2 years old and seem to a bit nervous and unsure about having been relocated. However we have had 4 eggs in 2 days so they must be getting settled.
It is good to have chickens back again, and of course means that there is no such thing as wasted food in our house again.
And 1 of the hens turns out to be a cockerel !
